WELCOME TO THE TESCO CUP - 2008/9 SEASON
After the huge success of the inaugural season of the Tesco Cup - U14 girls we are delighted to announce that the second season is now under way! Last season, over 4360 girls took part across the UK with 35 English County FAs participating. This season we have increased this number to 38 which is great news for girls' football. Scotland, Northern Ireland and the six Welsh Area Associations also lend their much valued support by putting teams forward and we hope that this season will be even better than the last.
Teams compete at County, Area, Regional and National rounds to represent their country at the UK Final. Last years competition was won by Northern Ireland Champions Northern Belles in a close battle with Welsh Champions Mardy Tigers at the impressive City of Manchester Stadium.
